Based on concerns by OLD Boys (Rimcollians) in continuing the traditions of excellence and the need for augmenting the resources of the school, the idea of forming a ROBA TRUST germinated. The Trust would garner the support of Rimcollians and other agencies to contribute generously so that the funds collected could be used for improving the quality of education in the school, improve the facilities of the library, provide for periodicals, publications & books important to the objectives of the trust. The Trust would assist and promote extra curricular activities required in modern times to inculcate the feeling of adventure and so on. The funds collected would be placed in a corpus and the interest accruing could also be used for specific issues as required by the Donor. The funds would augment monies for the school promotional activities. |
The Trust was formed on March 7, 1995 by the Rimcollians with the objectives as outlined hereafter. The Trust would be Charitable in nature and was registered under the Societies Act and registered with Income Tax Authorities and obtained Income Tax Rebate for donations under Section 80 G of the IT Act
